Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney is a lawyer from America and Lebanon. She is also a human rights advocate and philanthropist. She was born Amal Ramzi Amuddin. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. Her long career has earned her international acclaim by her contributions to international law as well as in the area that deals with human rights. Some of her most prominent clients include several nation-states including the country of Armenia in its fight for recognition of Armenia's participation in the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was engaged, and was later married with American star George Clooney, instantly making her a household names in pop culture. Years earlier, Amal Clooney was known for successfully representing her clients before courts and had a good reputation. She is a versatile lawyer with a variety of work, that ranges from social justice and issues relating to human rights through to representing various corporations in court as well as when it comes to negotiations on government regulations. From 2015 onwards, Doughty Street Chambers is located in London. She has been a barrister.
