Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her career in showbiz early. She was a lead actress in dramas on television as young as the age of 16. She was praised for her role on Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra is known for her participation in a variety of important projects in both the US as well as internationally.
